First Cottage Tour committee meeting coming up

Posted on December 18th, 2010

Hey readers!

The 8th Annual Cottage Tour committee will kick off their planning sessions this January. If you are interested in helping plan the tour, which will take place Saturday, September 10. Our committee already includes: Erin Bernard of the Cannon Beach Gazette, Jeff Jewel of the Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce, Gina Simone, owner of SeaSole Shoe Boutique in Seaside, Nala Cardillo of the Haystack Rock Awareness Program, Board President Dale Shafer, marketing committee member Sue Barr, and Jean Williams, quilter and History Center volunteer extraordinaire. If you’d like to lend your skills to any part of the tour, whether it be securing homes, recruiting docents for tour day, decorations and food at the luncheon or pre-tour party, the post-tour reception, or any other number of tasks, we’d be glad to have you.

Call us at 503-436-9301 for more information on how you can volunteer for this year’s tour.

Have a happy holiday season!

The Cottage Tour is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and features up to 10 historic beach homes.
