DESCRIPTION:The Cannon Beach History Center &amp\; Museum will host the Wil
 dlife Center of the North Coast (WCNC) for a special educational program o
 n Friday\, April 17 at 1:30 PM. This event is free and open to the public.
  Seating is limited.\n\nDuring this engaging program\, attendees will lear
 n about the vital work of the Wildlife Center of the North Coast\, a nonpr
 ofit wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education center serving the
  central and northern Oregon Coast. WCNC provides professional medical car
 e to more than 1\,000 injured\, sick\, and orphaned native animals each ye
 ar\, including seabirds\, raptors\, songbirds\, waterfowl\, and mammals.\n
 \nThe program will also feature Cormie\, the Center’s resident double-cr
 ested cormorant and wildlife ambassador\, offering a unique opportunity to
  learn more about coastal wildlife and the challenges they face.\n\nThe Ce
 nter specializes in seabird rehabilitation and is dedicated to promoting e
 nvironmental stewardship and helping communities better understand how to 
 live in harmony with local wildlife.The program will take place at the Can
 non Beach History Center &amp\; Museum\, located at 1387 South Spruce Stre
 et in Cannon Beach.\nThis program is part of Cannon Beach’s 12 Days of E
 arth Day celebration\, a community-wide event running April 11–22\, 2026
