Join us at the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum on Saturday, June 29, 2024, for a summer pickling workshop, where you’ll learn the basics of pickling fruits and vegetables from the Museum’s own Outreach Specialist, Zoe Swain. During this workshop, you will receive hands-on experience pickling both strawberries and red onions with step-by-step instructions that will be easy to replicate at home. Everyone will bring home one jar of pickled strawberries and one jar of pickled red onions.
There are two time slots available to choose from on June 29th, either from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The cost of this workshop is $20, which includes pickling materials. You will need to bring 2 jars for pickling.
Funds raised from this workshop will go towards the museum’s general operations.
Space for each workshop is limited, and it is expected to sell out, so get your tickets today!
