Hop Through History: An Easter Celebration – Saturday, April 4 from 11am – 4pm

The Cannon Beach History Center & Museum invites families and visitors to enjoy Hop Through History, a community-focused afternoon of seasonal activities and local history on Saturday, April 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

As a community museum dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories of Cannon Beach, the museum regularly hosts events that bring people together while encouraging visitors to explore local history in engaging and meaningful ways.

Throughout the day, guests can enjoy Easter egg hunts at the top of every hour, beginning at 11 a.m., with each hunt lasting approximately 20 minutes.

11:00 – 11:20 a.m.
12:00 – 12:20 p.m.
1:00 – 1:20 p.m.
2:00 – 2:20 p.m.
3:00 – 3:20 p.m.

Visitors of all ages are also invited to take part in the museum’s Hop Through History Challenge, an engaging self-guided activity that encourages guests to explore the museum’s exhibits. Participants will follow bunny footprints placed throughout the museum, hopping from station to station while answering trivia questions using clues found in the displays.

The event will also include a coloring contest and a special appearance by the Cannon Beach Bunny, a nod to the well-known Cannon Beach bunnies.

Families are welcome to drop in anytime throughout the afternoon to enjoy the activities, explore the museum, and spend time together in a space dedicated to the history of Cannon Beach.

Admission is free. Donations are welcome.

Parking at the museum is extremely limited. Guests are encouraged to allow extra time when arriving. The closest public parking is the Gower Street parking lot in midtown Cannon Beach, with additional public parking available in downtown Cannon Beach.

The Cannon Beach History Center & Museum is located at 1387 S Spruce Street in Cannon Beach.

The museum is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the rich history of Cannon Beach and Arch Cape.
