The final event of the weekend is an English style garden tea at the Cannon Beach Chamber Hall on Sunday, September 10 at 11:00 a.m. Attendees will enjoy English style tea from Kettle/Black Teahouse of Cannon Beach while enjoying a presentation by the event’s guest speaker, Dawn Hummel. Hummel has become a well-known and highly sought-after marketing consultant for horticulture and landscape designers. Over the years, this skill has developed into a full-blown passion for gardening and landscape that takes Hummel all over the world. Hummel’s unique background in trucking – something she adamantly wanted to get out of when she left the industry to work as a sales and marketing manager of Blooming Nursery in Oregon – ended up coming back to haunt her and ultimately gave her a competitive advantage in the work she does now. Not only is she a marketing expert, she’s an award-winning tradeshow booth and display designer and knows her way around a garden as well. Her specialty is stages, perennial bed planting designs, seasonal potted containers and garden renovations.

Tickets for the Garden Tea are $20.

Tickets can be purchased at the Museum, over the phone (503-436-9301), or through the online gift shop.
