You’ve waited patiently all year and the day is nearly here! The Cannon Beach Cottage Tour – Tour of Homes is from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14. This one-day only home tour will take place in the Presidential Street neighborhood of Cannon Beach.

You’ll want some comfy walking shoes for this self-guided, self-paced tour of homes featuring about ten vintage cottages and beach dream homes. There aren’t many home tours that take place within view of Haystack Rock and the beautiful splendor that is the Pacific Ocean.

Homes featured on previous tours have received awards in Oregon Home Magazine, Sunset Magazine, The Oregonian, Seattle Times, Oregon Coast Magazine, HGTV, among others.

Cannon Beach Wine Shack will be pouring their award winning Puffin Wines at one of the tour locations from noon until 4:00 p.m. Cannon Beach Wine Shack is located in the heart of downtown Cannon Beach and has been making award-winning varietals for over twenty years. A great addition to this year’s tour!

You won’t want to miss Beach House Teas as they offer a selection of Pacific Northwest tea. Based out of Long Beach, Washington, this family owned and operated company sources only the best tea ingredients for not only tea, but amazing bath products.

Included in the cost of your ticket is a Saturday night post-tour reception and concert featuring local duo Julie Amici group. The concert goes from 6-8 p.m. and will take place at the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum. Enjoy refreshments and fun!

Tickets for the Home Tour are $40 per person. Discounts for active CBHCM members are available. We are not offering weekend packages this year.

The Cottage Tour is a fundraiser for Cannon Beach’s only history museum, the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum. The Cannon Beach History Center & Museum is home to the cannon that Cannon Beach is named for, a replica long house, a tide pool exhibit, and the history of Cannon Beach and Arch Cape. It features a free lecture series, workshops, and field trip activities throughout the year. This private non-profit is donation based thanks to the Cottage Tour! The Cottage Tour is a don’t miss event for history enthusiasts, home designers, architects, and anyone who would like to see inside of some of these quaint cottages and historic homes.

We don’t typically sell out, but advance ticket sales are encouraged. Parking is an issue every year, so we recommend getting into town early, or leaving your car at your hotel or vacation rental. Maps will be available at the museum (1387 South Spruce Street) on tour day at noon – no earlier. Parking is available at Gower Street. There is also a shuttle in town and information can be found here: Shuttle Schedule.

We do cut off ticket sales at 2:00 p.m. on the day of the tour, but there’s some wiggle room there if you are worried. The tour typically takes about 2 to 2.5 hours to do. We have people of all ages and disabilities help us come up with this number by walking the tour months in advance.

Tickets are available to purchase at the museum, over the phone (503-436-9301), or through the online gift shop.
