Event Type

The Cannon Beach History Center & Museum invites photographers to submit work for our upcoming exhibit, Capturing the Coast: A Collective Photography Exhibit, on view July 10 through September 30, 2026.
This exhibit will celebrate the beauty, character, and everyday moments of coastal life through photography. Submissions may include landscapes, wildlife, coastal details, and scenes of life along the coast. Photographs do not need to be limited to Cannon Beach.
We welcome photographers of all experience levels to participate.
Submission Guidelines:
*Up to 5 images per artist
*Open to photographers of all experience levels
*Work must be original and created by the submitting artist
*Selected photographs must be mounted, framed, and ready to hang
*Must include wire on the back for hanging (no sawtooth hangers)
*Minimum size: 8″ x 10″
*Maximum size: 24″ x 36″ (including frame)
*Final selections will be made with consideration to space and overall exhibit balance

Notification of Acceptance: May 27, 2026
Artwork Drop Off Deadline: July 1, 2026
Exhibit Dates: July 10 – September 30, 2026
Opening Reception: July 10, 2026 | 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
